The North Providence Chiminea is a medium sized steel chiminea with an open mesh body that allows a greater airflow and a brighter flame, while giving a great view of the fire from every angle. It is important you observe the instructions and maintenance recommendations. Chimineas do rust over time; how much they rust is dependent on whether they are left outside in all weathers, how much they are used, how they are looked after. However, rust does not affect use and the product can easily be repainted. Metal chiminea surfaces can become very hot in use; burning temperatures inside steel and cast iron chimineas are even higher than inside traditional cast iron chimineas; therefore the manufacturer recommends the use of a chiminea guard when small children are present.
